Hello, Zpay

Jonas Ramirez1 min read

Every Philippine merchant we talked to was running the same patchwork: one provider for cards, another for QR Ph, a third for e-wallets, and a spreadsheet to make the numbers agree at the end of the month. The dashboards never matched. Settlement landed on different days. Reconciliation was a person, not a process.

We started Zpay to put every channel under one dashboard and one API — with reconciliation that actually works on peso flows.

What's shipping first

The early product is intentionally narrow:

  • Accept — cards, QR Ph, GCash, Maya, and OTC in a single integration
  • Reconcile — one ledger across all channels, with auto-match rules tuned for PH settlement schedules
  • Settle — T+1 to your BPI, BDO, or UnionBank account

That's the v1. No invoicing, no payroll, no consumer wallet. The point is to make the boring part work first.

Who this is for

Multi-branch retailers, services businesses, and operators who already accept payments and feel the cost of stitching it together themselves. If you're processing ₱500K/month or more across two or more channels, we want to talk.

The rest of this blog will cover what we ship, what we break, and the engineering decisions behind both. More soon.
